Spinifex Skateboards - Lavina Abbott 8.0" Skateboard Deck
Spinifex Skateboards was founded by Nicky Hayes from the Ltyentye Apurte community in the Northern Territory of Australia. Starting with the first-ever indoor skatepark in 2015, Nicky has now grown his own skate scene, a traditional owner of the land and proud Ltyentye Apurte man, Nicky is all about community, influencing the youth and bringing the skate culture to such a remote area of Australia.
Spinifex engages as many local artists for graphics on the decks and proceeds go towards First Nations Skate Tours. Taking 6-10 young people on an annual interstate tour which will provide opportunities for young people to build strong relationships, confidence and self -esteem through physical activity and provide them with experiences which will assist to expand their world view.
