Yesterday TRUCKSTOP and NAN AND POP helped run and judge the 1st inaugural MHS skateboard contest at the Yamba skatepark. We went to the contest not expecting much in the way of talent or enthusiasm from the grommies on the planks. We were happily blown away by the level of skating and the sheer stoke by all the students involved.
From the girls to the under 14’s and opens the shredding was top notch. We ended the event with a best trick down the stairs and hubbas. The carnage was heavy and the makes triumphant.
The winners get’s their names etched onto a sick handmade skateboard trophy (Skipper) ala HAROSHI
We look forward to working with and making these events bigger and badder. Thanks Skipper for organising a rad event!
